Everyone has had to dig deep and behave resiliently during the global pandemic and young people have had a lot to deal with. Resilience research tells us that in adverse circumstances 70% of children will recover despite the difficulties, 20% will need some support and 10% will need longer term strategies. This means schools can create a universally resilient environment and also to target particular groups who may need more support.

This 90 minutes session uses the resilience evidence base and Resilience Framework to explore how young people can be supported to respond resiliently to the current challenges. We will share practical strategies and resources to use with pupils to enable them to understand how to harvest their own strengths and resources to bounce back when things get tough.

This session will take over Zoom and is for anyone who works in a school and wants to support their students to behave resiliently. It includes access to free-to-download resources and activities.
