Introductory Assembly: Hello Future! Your Future, Your Way
This assembly will be delivered by your local Hello Future team to re-introduce students to the Hello Future team and our programme offer. We will talk about our workshops and activities that are designed to equip learners with knowledge and skills to help them to navigate their post school careers and education choices and to support informed decision making to reach their goals.

WorkSmart: Application & Aptitude Tests
In this workshop, learners will be equipped with new knowledge and skills to equip them for applications and aptitude tests for apprenticeships and/ or jobs. The session will explain the process of an application and what to expect. It will also explore the different methods employers use to screen applicants, such as aptitude tests and interviews. There will be examples of aptitude tests in common areas such as verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, diagrammatic reasoning, and spatial reasoning. A corresponding worksheet with questions across all of these areas will be provided to learners to encourage practice and revision.

Communicating Confidently – Interview Techniques
In this workshop, learners will have the opportunity to challenge preconceived ideas about higher education at an age-appropriate level. Students will begin to challenge some of the myths relating to their future progression into Further Education and Higher Education and have the opportunity to develop their understanding of all things Higher Education including apprenticeships, UCAS, Student Finance and entry requirements.

The workshop will explore the variety of ways a learner can enter Level 4 (and above) Higher Education. The workshop focusses on both university and apprenticeship opportunities with learners engaging in debating activity to help them understand more about the role of education in future career paths. The session invites learners to contextually consider their future by considering how they can achieve their goals through education, both in school or college (and beyond).

Learn Lab
LearnSmart: Revision Skills
In this workshop, learners will identify their preferred learning styles before being introduced to three evidence-based revision techniques. Learners will have the opportunities to practice the different revision techniques and reflect on which was the most beneficial for them and how they can integrate them into their own revision.
