Business progression routes

This section explores progression routes related to business. 

There are several subjects and courses that fall under the umbrella of ‘business’. For example, at level 2 and 3 you could study business, business management, or accounting at college. Similarly, you could study business studies, maths or further maths at A Level. ​

In terms of higher education, you could study a range of university courses including: ​

• University of Cumbria: BSC (Hons) Project Management, BA(Hons) Business Management​
• Lancaster University: BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance, BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing​
• UCLan: BA(Hons) Sports Business Management, BA (Hons) Digital Marketing​

There are also a range of apprenticeships available across levels 3-7. Examples include: ​

• Barclays​
• Network Rail ​
• AstraZeneca​
