Partner trips

Expected length of time: Full day (due to travel) within the school day.

Our partner trips are a great way for students to explore our partner HE and FE campuses, as well as take part in a wide variety of subject taster sessions. Last year we ran very successful trips to BAE Systems, Myerscough College, UCLan and NHS Furness General Hospital for a range of subjects including humanities, arts and business, agriculture/equine, and we will be running similar trips this year. These are a great opportunity for students to build their confidence and build their aspirations for higher education.

All trips are fully funded by Hello Future, with lunch and travel included.

Participation Fund

We will continue to provide a participation fund to our target schools and colleges. This funding is to be used for:

• Higher education campus visit
• Further education campus visits
• External providers
• Higher education-related project work
